How Many Seats?

People Carriers. Why do people think they need one when they have a baby? Have they been sucked into lifestyle marketing?, Do they really think their child is going to be that popular, that they will need 8 seats before their 3rd Birthday? Or maybe they are thinking of starting a minicab firm, to pay for all the nappies and designer clothes that the little 'un needs (yeah ok, maybe nappies are essential). When I was young, we all piled into my Dads 3 door, 5 seat Mk1 Ford Escort. This never even had seat belts - we were told to sit still in the event of a 50mph collision!
I'm sure they have a place for large families, but why spend the money on something you'll need in maybe 6 years time? It's like buying the baby a bike!
