Sixth Star

So I won the first prize for best retail/party style in Reno, and together with that came a vacation on a cruise. Well, vacation, I don't know if you have to put it that way. It was more like a working vacation, they wanted to hire me as a caricaturist but I had to work for just two hours a day.
I could choose the cruise that I wanted but I had to pay for the journey to the departure place myself.
And I could take one guest with me but no kids under 16 were allowed on the cruise....
Can you believe that! So this means that either you have to have no kids, or they have to be old enough to join. In Holland we say: "Een sigaar uit eigen doos", perhaps this can be translated with 'dutch treat' or something, I don't know.
Sure, we can put our kids away for one week. But they would be sooooooooooo disappointed.
Their first reaction when they heard that I had won a cruise was: "WE are going on a cruise!"
Kids are like that.
I responded to Sixth Star that I was honoured to be part of the Sixth Star family but they had to wait for another 10 years or so before they could see me work on one of their ships.
Meanwhile, to get rid of this negative feeling, I made these two cartoons.

For five minutes or so we considered this to be an option too.
