Love these 1966 LOONEY TUNES character prints!
I never understood why the executives at Warner Bros. felt it necessary to create the awful LOLA BUNNY (Space Jam) as a love interest to BUGS BUNNY when HONEY BUNNY (above) already existed!

Love these 1966 LOONEY TUNES character prints!I never understood why the executives at Warner Bros. felt it necessary to create the awful LOLA BUNNY (Space Jam) as a love interest to BUGS BUNNY when HONEY BUNNY (above) already existed!
I heard theories that Lola is in fact updated and renamed Honey Bunny. Strange, but... who knows... ;)
ReplyDeleteOn some of sericels by Juan Ortiz there appears a female character which looks like a hybrid of Honey (grey fur and other Bugs-like features) and Lola (blonde Lola-like hair and purple hair-band on ears).
